Born to the king and queen of a mystical land, Princess Leslie should be set for a life of comfort and luxury. But destiny has other plans. Through an innocent fluke, Leslie accidentally sets free the King of Darkness to wreak his evil upon the kingdom. Hoping to keep her safe, Leslie’s parents place her in the care of her aunt, who whisks her away to another time and place. For a while, she lives a peaceful, normal life, attending school and making friends. Until Keven, a vampire and the son of the King of Darkness, shows up to claim his due: her hand in marriage, promised to him by Leslie’s father. Leslie is drawn to him, but she can’t overlook his possessive behaviour toward her. To complicate things, she’s also being pursued by Cem, Keven’s twin brother, and her human friend Jack, who is steadfastly devoted to her. As she trains to defeat the King of Darkness and restore peace to her father’s kingdom, she also wrestles with her emotions. Which of her suitors sparks the flame of her passion — and more importantly, which of them can she really trust?

Inspired by her love of art and creating, Susan Solomon started writing so she could keep a record of her fantastical dreams. Outside of writing, Susan enjoys crafting, painting, and making jewellery, and she spends as much time as she can in nature. She belongs to numerous organizations, including the Heart & Stroke Foundation and the Canadian Army. Fantasy Dreams is Susan’s first book, though she has more romance novels in the works, and she is an award-winning poet. She lives in Shaunavon, Saskatchewan, with her five cats.
