Larry D. O’Brien is a retired aviator. He grew up in Nova Scotia but lived in various locations across Canada. In his career with the Royal Canadian Air Force he flew into active war zones and participated in top-secret military operations and then flew for twenty seven years with Air Canada. In his retirement years, he traveled the world with his beloved wife. He was inspired to tell his life story with the hope that it would show others who had difficult childhoods that they have the power to overcome their trauma and lead fulfilling lives. Outside of writing, he is interested in finance, pro sports, and charitable causes. He belongs to the Canadian Association of Retired People. Larry lives in White Rock, British Columbia, and maintains a close relationship with his three children and six grandchildren.
