At three years old, Lisa witnesses something extraordinary in the field bordering the rowhouse where she lives in Cambridge, Ontario: a strange, glowing light, something like a “second sun,” that descends before her eyes before taking off at warp speed. Over the months and years to follow, Lisa finds herself subject to a series of bizarre and frightening occurrences, finding herself visited by beings she refers to as the “little people,” who she will one day learn others refer to as “short greys”: strange, humanoid beings who come through her wall at night to take her away to their ship. Here, they perform mysterious, mentally disturbing, and even physically painful experiments on her, for reasons she can only guess. In time, she finds herself visited by a far more comforting otherworldly being: the tall, strangely beautiful “Nordic” woman, “Angie,” who she at first believes to be an angel. Angie comes to teach her about her people, allows her to captain her ship, and even brings her to a hangar to witness the building of a similar craft. This protective, guiding presence will stay with her for the rest of her life, alongside the terrifying threat of the short greys’ visits. Along the way, Lisa encounters all manner of mysterious phenomena and strange beings, human and non-human alike, from tall greys to Men in Black, shadow people to a strange little-boy ghost. Lisa Savoy has been what many call an “experiencer” since she was just three years old. Inspired by both her desire to teach skeptics that such extraordinary things are happening and provide support to experiencers like herself, Savoy set out, with the encouragement of her friends and family, to write this, her first book, originally sold on Amazon.
