Bending Starlight is a collection of the author’s work. Through poetry, short fiction and short non-fiction, she reflects on the beauty and pain of love and loss, explores the wonders and dangers of the natural world, evokes times past and far-away places, and shines a gentle light into private lives and thoughts. Throughout this moving, dynamic collection, there is a connecting thread of being a traveller in time and space, navigating borders and pushing boundaries, real and imagined. A long-time professional writer, Trish has earned many awards for short fiction, short non-fiction and poetry. Bending Starlight is her third publication. She has also written two novels, The Gods of Thought and Memory and The Scales of Anubis. Trish was born in Liverpool, lived in London and Zimbabwe, and has made her home in Canada for many years. She has travelled widely and has a deep love for history, wild places, trees, and the sky at night, which inspire her writing.
