Water Cycle is a collection of deeply personal poetry about love, the connections between people, and our relationship with our natural environment. It explores the link between philosophy, science, spirituality, and the human condition through beautiful, rhythmic wordplay and thought-provoking rhymes. Poet Charlie Kennedy is a keen observer of nature and humanity, greatly appreciating and marvelling at our natural surroundings of earth, sea, sky, and space. From a young age, he has believed that spirituality and science are intrinsically intertwined, that soul and energy are one, and that experiences and emotions continue to exist in some form long after they are over. He shares that philosophy here for the first time. His compositions are experiential and observational in essence and often accompanied by melodies. He invites readers to join him on a journey through the complexities—and the blatancy—of love.

Charlie Kennedy is a native Newfoundlander who has lived, worked, and travelled Canada first as a child in a military family, then as a 32-year veteran himself of the Canadian Forces, where his primary occupation was that of a meteorological technician. His hobbies include reading, writing, gardening, checking out the weather and skies, and making music with his band-mates. He relishes all aspects of retired life but mostly spending time with his wife and life-long love, Debbie, their children, and grandchildren. They reside in Cornwall, PEI, with their cockapoo, Bella.
