Shayna loves colors—everywhere and on everything. So imagine how she feels when her mother gives her plain white rainboots to wear! Stomping angrily in a puddle, she finds a tiny rainbow who’s been washed from the sky. The little rainbow has to get home, and Shayna’s the girl for the job. Can she find a way to get little Rhaina back to her parents high in the sky? Perhaps—with unexpected help from some animal friends. Shayna Rescues a Rainbow is a heartwarming children’s picture book celebrating kindness, imagination, adventure and the joy of helping others. It reveals the power of friendship and determination and will inspire children from 3-7 to be both creative and caring. Kids will love following Shayna as she makes original and sometimes comical attempts to achieve her goal, all brought to life with colorful, beautifully detailed illustrations sure to spark curiosity and warm readers’ hearts over and over again.
